Assistant Professor, two children hit by acid attack in Lahore

LAHORE - Unknown people threw acid on a woman and her two kids in Jubilee Town on Friday. Assistant Professor Aneela and her 12-year-old daughter Ayesha and eight-year-old Salman have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
The victim has submitted an application to Chung police for registration of case. She alleged that her former husband had thrown acid on them over a property dispute.
IGP Punjab Arif Nawaz Khan has taken notice of the incident and ordered immediate arrest of the culprits.
On the other hand, three-year-old boy Junaid accidently fell into the drain and died in Malipura area. After the incident, locals staged a demonstration by placing the body on Bund Road.
