United States warn ally Israel

WASHINGTON: (APP) The United States rebuked Israel on Wednesday for approving a new block of settlement building on occupied Palestinian land, and warned its ally that it is imperilling hopes for peace.
"We strongly condemn the Israeli government's recent decision to advance a plan that would create a significant new settlement deep in the West Bank," the State Department said in a statement.
