Two holidays announced by the government

The Sindh government has declared a holiday for the Hindu community to celebrate the festival of Holi. This holiday is scheduled for November 13, as mentioned in an official notification from the provincial government. On this day, the Hindu community in Pakistan will joyfully observe Holi, a colorful and festive occasion.

The notification specifies that the following Monday will be a designated holiday for the Hindu community, commemorating the 'festival of lights.'

This holiday applies to all government offices, autonomous and semi-autonomous organizations, corporations, and local councils that fall under the administrative jurisdiction of the Sindh government.

Additionally, the provincial government had previously announced a public holiday for Iqbal Day, which is observed annually on November 9. This holiday is applicable in Sindh, as conveyed through an official notification distributed to all government departments.
