Nawaz, Zardari are two Godfathers of corruption: Imran Khan

OBARO: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has on Sunday said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Zardari are two godfathers of corruption.

Addressing a rally in Obaro on Sunday, he asked already oppressed people of Sindh to not vote for those who have wealth outside the country, adding that Nawaz Sharif’s Rs300 billion property is in abroad.

The PTI chairman said that all of his assets were in Pakistan and were under his name.

Taking a jibe at the daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Khan said that Maryam Nawaz had told in an interview that neither she had property abroad nor in Pakistan, adding that she has submitted forged documents in the Supreme Court.

We have seen the condition of hospitals in interior Sindh following Sehwan blast, he said, adding that the people of Sindh have finally awaken.

“Former President Asif Zardari has seized 19 sugar mills but didn’t keep them under his name,” he added.

Khan said that the people of Pakistan will not accept another National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), adding that Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif should not remain under any delusion that another NRO deal will materialize.
