Govt introduces Ehsas Programme to facilitate the poor: Qureshi

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi says government is making efforts to bring the poor out of poverty through its public-friendly policies.
Addressing a public meeting at Jahanian in district Khanewal, he said the government is introducing Ehsas programme, under which different departments are being assembled, in order to facilitate the poor.
The Minister said the PTI government has also introduced Sehat Insaf card under which medical assistance upto seven hundred twenty thousand rupees would be given to the poor.
He said the local government system introduced by PTI government would bring about a revolution and empower people at grass root level.
He said thirty per cent budget of the province would be shifted to local bodies and issues of the masses would be resolved locally.
