Pakistan’s Ambassador holds key meeting with US National Security Adviser

WASHINGTON: Pakistan’s Ambassador to United States Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry held a key meeting in United States today.
Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry , the Pakistan's ambassador to the United States, on Friday met with US National Security Adviser Lt Gen H R McMaster to discuss affairs concerning peace restoration in Afghanistan and tranquility on the border.
The ambassador said peace in Afghanistan was directly linked with the same in its neighbouring countries and added that it was Pakistan’s top priority to help establish peace in Kabul.
Benefits of war on terror would only surface after peace in Afghanistan, Aizaz Chaudhry said. He said that economic development was creating more investment opportunities in Pakistan.
During the meeting, US National Security Advisor Lieutenant General H.R. McMaster lauded Pakistan’s sacrifices in war against terrorism.
