Ehsaas Rashan Riayat Programe: 2 crore Pakistani families get Rs 120 billion subsidised ration

Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation Dr Sania Nishtar says government is spending 120 billion rupees to provide relief to 20 million deserving families under 'Ehsaas Rashan Riayat programme’.
Addressing a convention of merchants in Lahore on Saturday, she said under the programme, a subsidy worth 1,000 rupees per month will be provided to each of the 20 million families on purchase of flour, pulses, ghee, cooking oil whereas 8 per cent commission was fixed for merchants.
