LAHORE - Syed Sumsam Ali Bukhari has been appointed as the new Punjab Information Minister.

The move comes after former Punjab information minister Fayazul Hasan Chohan was asked to resign by Chief Minister Usman Buzdar for making derogatory remarks at a press conference about the Hindu community living in Pakistan.
