MQM received 25 crore extortion money “Bhatta” in Baldia Town Factory case: Report
 KARACHI: A report regarding Baldia Town Factory tragedy has been presented in court. The report revealed that 25 crore extortion money “Bhatta” had been received by MQM Sector in-Charge Rehman Bholla in Baldia Town factory case.

 

As per details, a meeting had been arranged between the owners of the factory and Muhammad Ali Hassan Qadri and told them that Hassan Qadri would finalize the matter through Anees Qaim Khani.

 

The report further revealed that the factory had been put on fire due to refusal to give extortion money while Baldia Town factory was put on fire through employee Zubair and his accomplices.

 

MQM senior leaders used their influence to declare the incident as an accident and tried to prove their workers injured by threating factory owners.

 

Report further stated that factory owners  agree to give 1 crore extortion but Rehman Bhollah received 25 crore on the instructions of MQM leader Hammad Siddiqui.

 

Ali Hassan Qadri received amount of Rs. five crore and 99 lakh for MQM leaders on the name of victims Baldia factory but he did not provide even a single penny to victims.

 

The report further added that Hammad Siddiqui, Rehman Bollah, Zubair, Omer Hassan, Ali Hassan, Dr. Abdul Sattar and Iqbal Adeeb are nominated accused while JIT has declared the incident an act of terrorism.
