Pakistan opens Kartarpur corridor for Sikh pilgrims

Kartarpur Corridor has been reopened for Sikhs after a hiatus of one month and pilgrims link and visitors have started visiting the religious site.
The authorities have notified the reopening of the corridor that stated that pilgrims link must follow the coronavirus SOPs.
Earlier, the Punjab Rangers Director General inspected the Kartarpur site in a helicopter. He also reviewed the security arrangements and consulted the administration.
The Kartarpur Corridor was inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan on 9 November 2019, just days before the 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.
The Kartarpur Corridor allowed Indian Sikh pilgrims link rare visa-free access to their religious site in Pakistan.
