Spencer Cox, the governor of the US state of Utah, has appealed to the public to join in the collective prayer for rain during the recent drought and said that only God can help us now.
According to media reports, Governor Spencer Cox said in a video message on Twitter that the situation has become quite dangerous due to the drought.
He urged the citizens to use water sparingly to overcome the ongoing drought and water scarcity in the state. He urged all the residents of the state to save water during bathing and other uses.
He also called for all necessary steps to prevent water leakage. He said that we have taken steps to save water in the state but I am afraid that these efforts are not enough for our protection.
