Mexican and US officials are set to resume talks in Washington Thursday to avert an imposition of tariffs on Mexican goods.
Earlier, during a meeting with Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard, US Vice President Mik Pence stressed the need to take more steps to stop a surge in Central American migrants crossing the border.
