Railways to run 5 special trains on Eid-ul-Fitr

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways will run five special trains from different cities on occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr across country in a bid to extend maximum facilities to passengers so that they can spend the Islamic festival with their near and dear ones.

Special Eid trains will run from Karachi, Quetta, Rawalpindi and Multan while additional bogies will be attached with trains to accommodate maximum passengers.

Route of these special trains have been issued by Pakistan Railways.

According to the details, first special train will start their journey on 12th of this month from Karachi to Peshawar Cantt and Quetta to Rawalpindi station respectively.

Third Special train will start his journey on 13th of June from Karachi Cantt to Lahore while fourth Special train will start his journey on 14th of June from Rawalpindi to Multan Cantt.

The fifth special train will start his journey on 19th of June from Multan Cantt to Rawalpindi.

Earlier, Pakistan Railways had already announced 30 percent discount on railway fares to facilitate passengers on first and second day of Eid-ul-Fitr.
