Candidates for general elections continue to file nomination papers

ISLAMABAD: Filing of nomination papers by candidates for the general elections continues on the second day on Tuesday.
The last day for filing of nomination papers with the returning officers is Friday.
The Election Commission will publish preliminary list of candidates the same day.
Meanwhile, the series of receiving nomination papers for fifty one Provincial and sixteen National Assemblies’ seats by the candidates desirous of taking part in the General Elections continued on the 2nd consecutive day in Balochistan as well.
According to Spokesman of Provincial Election Commissioner the candidates are constantly receiving nomination papers from the offices of Returning Officers of their respective constituencies.
Meanwhile, eleven women candidates obtained their nomination papers while twelve candidate were issued nomination papers who have to take part in the Elections from the seats reserved for Minorities.
