Govt committed to protect rights of media workers: Dr Firdous

Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan says the government is committed to protecting rights of media workers.
Speaking at a function of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists in Islamabad, she said a comprehensive media policy needs to be prepared, which defines a salary structure for media workers.
The Special Assistant expressed confidence that the government will be succeeded in preparing this policy in collaboration with the media organizations.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said Prime Minister Imran Khan has restored confidence of investors and the world is now ready for economic partnership with Pakistan.
The Special Assistant said billion tree tsunami project is the most successful project of PTI government, which has been acknowledged by world institutions.
