Court to take up Nawaz, Maryam’s petitions seeking postponement of Avenfield reference verdict today

ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court Islamabad will hear today the petitions filed by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz, seeking postponement of Avenfield reference verdict.
The court had reserved its judgement in the Avenfield reference on Tuesday, declaring that the verdict will be announced on Friday.
However, the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz, who are in London in connection with serious health condition of Kulsoom Nawaz, have requested the court to delay the judgment for few days.
