Pakistan-Italy vow to enhance bilateral Ties

Pakistan and Italy have vowed to further enhance cooperation in trade, investment and energy sectors.
This determination was shown during a meeting between Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi and Senior Vice President of Italian multinational oil and gas company Lapo Pistelli in Islamabad today.
Both sides noted the strengthening bilateral relationship between the two countries.
Tariq Fatemi apprised Lapo Pistelli about government's policies for enhancing welfare and security of the people, reviving the economy and addressing the energy crisis.
He also briefed about the investor-friendly policies of the Government.
Lapo Pistelli acknowledged the positive impact of Government's socio-economic policies and hoped that more companies would benefit from Pakistan's investor friendly climate.
