Iran ridicules Saudi announcement of sending ground troops to Syria

TEHRAN: Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guard claimed that Saudis are not brave enough to send their troops in Syria.
He claimed that if they send their troops they will definitely be defeated by Iranians.
This is Iran’s first official reaction to the statement of Saudi Arabia to send ground troops to Syria.
Saudi Arabia had announced that it is ready to join ground operations in Syria in alliance of US military.
Iran is regional rival of Saudi Arabia and has already sent his forces to Syria to back its ally Bashar al-Assad.
While Washington and its allies are supporting rebels in country’s five year old civil war.
Aleppo is encircled by government forces with the help of Russian airstrikes and Syrian Army has cut down the main supply route to rebels which may cause a starvation siege.
In this 5 years old war, more than 260,000 people have been died and half of country’s population has become homeless.
