Imran Farooq murder case: Non bailable arrest warrants issued for MQM founder

ISLAMABAD – Anti-terrorism court (ATC) has re-issued non-bailable arrest warrant of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder on Wednesday in Dr Imran Farooq murder case.

An ATC judge heard the case today during which freshly appointed prosecutor of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khawaja Imtiaz sought the court to grant time to complete the documentation.

Indictment of the three accused nabbed in the case namely, Khalid Shamim, Moazzam Ali and Mohsin Ali was postponed today again, before the hearing was adjourned until December 20.

It should be mentioned here that a case was lodged against the three on December 5, 2015 and they were presented before a magistrate for remands on the following December 6.

However, the ATC has ordered Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) again today to arrest MQM founder and present in coming hearing.
