ISLAMABAD, Dec 5 (APP): Chairman Standing Committee of National Assembly for Foreign Affairs Awais Ahmed Laghari Monday said India and Afghanistan were trying to hide their weaknesses by criticising Pakistan.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was frustrated due to defeat in Punjab and Uttar Pardesh elections, he said talking to Aaj TV programme 'Spot Light'.
He said India was striving to divert world attention from its atrocities on innocent Kashmiris as it was violating human rights in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Working Boundary and Line of Control (LOC).
Pakistan was a peace loving country, he said and added it always supported every effort for establishing peace in the region.
He said Afghan President Ashraf Ghani had tried to please India through his statements at Heart of Asia (HoA) Conference.
