Major Shabbir Sharif 45th martyrdom anniversary: Ex. COAS lays floral wreath

The 45th martyrdom anniversary of Major Shabbir Sharif Shaheed is being observed on Tuesday, 06 December.
He was martyred at Sulemanki Headworks during the 1971 war and was awarded Nishan-e-Haider on his extraordinary gallantry.
In this connection, a simple but graceful ceremony was held at his Mazar in Miani Sahib graveyard in Lahore.
General Officer Commanding Major General Fida Hussain Malik was chief guest on the occasion, who laid floral wreath and offered fateha on the Shaheed's grave. Jawans from Pak Army paid salute to the Shaheed's grave.
Former Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif along with his wife also laid floral wreath and offered Fateha on the Mazar.
