Organised campaign launched against former NA speaker Asad Qaiser to make his order controversial

The reason why National Assembly (NA) Speaker link Asad Qaiser link did not preside over the assembly’s session on April 3 on which voting on the opposition’s no-trust motion was to take place was that he was not in the favour link of speaker’s ruling link under Article 5 of the Constitution.

Quoting its sources, the channel reported that Asad had even conveyed his concerns to the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) high command.

They further disclosed that although the legal team of Prime Minister Imran Khan tried to convince him, but he did not feel convinced and stuck to his point.

And the reason why he did not make his differences with the ruling link party’s leadership on the issue public was because he thought that the matter was sub judice, and it would be better not to comment on it.
