More than 40 MPAs ditch PTI parliamentary meeting in Lahore

The meeting of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Punjab Parliamentary Party on Tuesday chaired by Prime Minister Imran link Khan was not attended by 54 members of the provincial assembly (MPAs).

A meeting of the Punjab Parliamentary Party was held at Governor House Lahore under the chairmanship of Imran link Khan in which MPAs of PTI and PML-Q participated.

Sources said that the names of 193 members of the Punjab Assembly were listed at the entrance of the Governor House including 183 members of PTI and 10 members of PML-Q.

According to the official record, 139 members came in and 54 members did not come as per the list provided to the security at the entrance gate of the Governor's House.

On the other hand, PTI leaders Ejaz Chaudhry and Mehmood ur Rasheed claimed that 165 members were present and about seven members were on the way.
