US approves arms sale worth $1.3b to Saudi Arabia

WASHINGTON:The United State has approved an arms sale of 1.3 billion dollars to Saudi Arabia.
According to US State Department' statement, the sale package contained about 180 Paladin howitzer systems and artillery-firing vehicles.
The move came as visiting Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was wrapping up his weeks-long trip to the United States. APP/AFP
