Nawaz Sharif shoe attacker granted bail

LAHORE – Judicial Magistrate Sardar Yousaf granted bail to three accused involved in hurling a shoe at Nawaz Sharif on Friday.
The court ordered to release Munawar Hussain, Abdul Ghafoor and Sajid after furnishing surety bonds worth Rs 100,000 each.
The accused’s counsel stated that his clients do not belong to any political party. He said that the accused had hurled shoe at Nawaz Sharif for amending the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat law.
The Qila Gujjar Singh police had registered a case against the accused under four sections of the PPC.
