Nawaz Sharif prepares people for mass agitation to resist his jail sentence

ISLAMABAD – PML (N) leader Nawaz Sharif is preparing the people for mass reaction upon his jail sentence.
He has said that being behind bars cannot stop him from leading his people. He said he does not want any such situation, but if it does occur, people will respond to his call even if he is sent to jail.
Talking to media outside NAB court, he demanded an open trial so that there is no confusion or equivocation regarding his case. He said he will meet the PM tomorrow and suggest him this.
He further said that the NAB ordinance was made to target politicians. “When I was Attock Jail, NAB was formed,” he informed.
He supported the democratic process and said that he does not want any mishap in the country. He said he wants to see the process of development not getting interrupted by any force.
He also asked why the Supreme Court did not take suo moto notice of the news of horse-trading in the Senate elections. He said that the country does not belong to one province only.
“Although Imran Khan confessed, law is different for him.”
He said that he has become ideological now and surrounded by ideologues.
