COAS urges tribal elders not to allow anyone to jeopardize peace

ISLAMABAD:Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has urged the tribal elders not to allow anyone to jeopardize the peace attained after great sacrifices of people and armed forces.
He expressed these views during inaugural ceremony of two big projects in South Waziristan Agency.
According to ISPR, projects include Agriculture Park at Wana and a market at Makeen.
Speaking on the occasion, General Bajwa said having lived through very difficult times during terrorism, kinetic operations against terrorists, we now are in the phase of stability and development.
The Army Chief also met father of Naqeebullah Mehsud at Makeen and offered condolence fateha. APP/AFP
