PTI turns out to be the richest political party of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: According to the details by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), PTI and JI are the richest parties in the country. Also, Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) topped in annual income.

The ruling party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had an annual income of Rs 16.5 million and expenditures of over Rs 40 million. 

The assets of PPP were just Rs 4.9 million, however, the party had transferred Rs 100 million to Peoples Party Parliamentarians.

Moreover, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) owns assets worth Rs 150 million. 

The party had spent Rs 364.2 million in 2015 and still had Rs 119 million in its account.

The assets of MQM Pakistan are worth over Rs 47.5 million and they collected Rs 230 million as funds for martyrs. 

The party had spent over Rs 250 million in 2015.

The net worth of assets belonging to Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) is Rs 100 million and that of PML-Q is Rs 50 million.
