The app was available in Pashto language which gives access to Taliban videos and news.

A large number of people downloaded it but later it was removed by the search engine.

Google claimed that it violated Google’s rules and regulations.

Google claimed that it will introduce counter terrorism adverts to point out extremist material searches.

Earlier, Afghan Taliban claimed that electronic gadgets are un-Islamic but by seeing the popularity of ISIS or Daesh, which have their cyber cell to deal media, they also moved towards social media to boost their campaign.
