ANAKARA – Turkey has vowed to retaliate if the United States enacts aproposed law that would halt weapons sales to the country.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in an interview with CNN inAnkara on Sunday that the measures in the US annual defense Policy billwere wrong, illogical and not fitting between the NATO allies.
Lawmakers in the U.S. House of Representatives released details of a 717billion dollars annual defense policy bill, including a measure totemporarily halt weapons sales to Turkey.
