ISLAMABAD – Pakistan on Saturday offered help and cooperation to TurkishAir Force in the field of aviation and military training.

In a statement issued by Pakistan Air Force (PAF) spokesman, Chief of AirStaff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan met Turkish Chief of GeneralStaff General Hulusi Akar who called on him at PAF headquarters inIslamabad.

During the meeting, matters pertaining to professional affairs came underdiscussion.

Speaking on the occasion, General Hulusi Akar appreciated soundprofessionalism of PAF personnel.

He also lauded PAF’s role in fighting the war against terrorism andexpressed his desire to learn from its experiences.

On the other hand, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan highlighted thatboth the countries enjoy cordial and brotherly relations and reiterated hisresolve to further enhance the existing cooperation between the twocountries.

He also assured continued support in the field of aviation and militarytraining to Turkish Air Force.

Earlier on his arrival, a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan AirForce presented the Guard of Honour.
