(23) Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parliamentary group, Parvez Khattak, has claimed that Imran Khan formed the government because of certain people, and today they are with me. He has announced that he will clean up PTI in the upcoming elections. Parvez Khattak further stated that PTI's chairman wanted to establish a monarchy through a revolution in the country.
Speaking at a rally in Nowshera, Parvez Khattak mentioned that PTI's chairman used to say that it doesn't matter to me if someone leaves, but today, I want to tell PTI's chairman that you will definitely feel the difference. A few days ago, Chairman PTI Parliamentary Group Parvez Khattak had claimed that if the events of May 9th had not happened, everything was settled. PTI's chairman would become the Prime Minister, and there would also be an understanding.
Speaking on a private TV program, former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak said that after the events of May 9th, he remained silent for 20 days. These events should not have happened, there was no information that the whole incident would go against one organization. Pervez Khattak said that three opportunities arose where elections could have taken place, but the PTI chairman did not agree. If the July 30th matter had been accepted, the May 9th incident would not have happened, and Ali Khan could have become the Chief Minister.
He said that the fight started because one day General Bajwa said that I cannot do more. There were too many orders, so General Bajwa said that he could not do more. Pervez Khattak said that people like Asad Umar tried hard to end the deadlock, and they made every effort to end the deadlock before leaving the party. Three opportunities arose, if the talks had been accepted, the May 9th incident would not have happened, and if the talks had been accepted, the Chairman of PTI could have won the election again.
He said that it is difficult for PTI to return now because the Chairman of PTI does not trust and keeps things in his heart. They are stubborn; if someone even mentions a small thing, they keep it in their hearts. They don't hide anything; they keep everything stuck and speak it out. I know them well; they will never make a deal. The former Chief Minister said that opposition friends had said, let's bring MNAs; we will make you the Prime Minister. I could have tried to become the Prime Minister, but I didn't do that.
