Pakistan Cricket Team's Head Coach, Grant Bradburn, says that my goal is to make Pakistan number one in every format; we need to continuously improve our abilities.
In a special interview with Geo News, Pakistan Cricket Team's Head Coach, Grant Bradburn, said that we haven't won the World Cup since '92, and we haven't won any trophies for a long time. We want to win trophies vigorously; if we don't win now, when will we? If these players don't win, who will?
He said that we need to build a team that wins trophies. Despite our performance in recent years, we haven't reached where we should be. Players are told to improve their performance every day.
Grant Bradburn mentioned that players are performing well, and the results are in our favor. We have an idea of each player's status in the squad. There are multiple contenders for various positions in the team, and competition within the team motivates players to perform.
Head Coach Pakistan Cricket Team further said that the coaching staff understands that players are humans, not machines. Having players like Babar and Shaheen in the team is very beneficial. Sometimes people expect these players to perform in every match, but it's not possible.
Grant Bradburn emphasized that players understand what it means to represent 240 million people. Our entire effort will be to bring the Asia Cup trophy to Pakistan in the next 12 days, and our preparations for the World Cup are heading in the right direction. I want to make it certain that we bring improvement in our performance every day.
