Big relief for Ch Pervaiz Elahi from Islamabad High Court

The Islamabad High Court has taken significant action regarding the written arrest order related to three Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) cases. These cases pertain to the former Punjab chief minister and PTI President, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, who had been detained by the Islamabad police. According to a report by 24NewsHD TV channel, the court has suspended the arrest order and has further ordered the release of Mr. Elahi.
In response to this development, the court has also issued a notice to the concerned parties, including the Islamabad Deputy Commissioner, scheduling the next hearing for Tuesday. The court has requested their responses and input during this upcoming session. Additionally, the judge presiding over the case has directed Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi to make an appearance during the next hearing.
Moreover, the Islamabad High Court has imposed restrictions on Mr. Elahi, preventing him from making any statements until the upcoming hearing. The court's decision appears to be influenced by the fact that, according to the petitioner's lawyer, there was no FIR registered against Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in Islamabad.
This significant development occurred during a hearing of the petition filed by Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, seeking the nullification of the MPO order. During the hearing, the judge inquired about the duration of Mr. Elahi's incarceration, to which the lawyer representing him replied that he had been in detention since June 1.
