33 foreign nationals killed and injured in deadly bomb blast in Kabul claimed by Taliban

KABUL - 33 foreign nationals have been killed and injured in deadly bomb blast in Kabul claimed by Taliban, security sources have claimed as quoted by Afghan media.

A security source said on Wednesday that at least eight foreign nationals were among those killed in Taliban attack and 25 other were injured on Green Village compound in the east of Kabul on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

The Ministry of Interior said in a statement the attack left 16 killed and 119 others wounded.

Among the foreign nationals was a representative of the Romanian Embassy in Afghanistan, the Romanian Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a statement adding that another Romanian citizen was severely wounded in the attack.

The source said that 25 other foreign nationals were wounded in the attack.
