CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah visits PITB

LAHORE: (APP) Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, accompanied by delegates, visited the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) here on Monday.
PITB Chairman Dr Umar Saif and his team received the guests. Dr Saif gave a detailed presentation on the prominent ICT interventions devised by the PITB in sectors of health, education and law & order, which have helped empower Punjab.

Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashood was also present on the occasion.
Delegates from Sindh appreciated the PITB for the efforts contributed to improve methods of governance.
Thoroughly impressed by PITB's tech ventures, the CM Sindh aspired to replicate and implement similar initiatives in Sindh.
Murad Ali Shah signed the guest book and lauded PITB for assistance in digitizing Sindh Police. He said: "It was indeed a pleasure to visit the PITB and learn about their various initiatives.

"The government of Sindh is already in contact with the PITB and I am grateful for the help the PITB is providing to Sindh Police. There is a lot of room for further cooperation and I am sure that we will collaborate further to learn from the PITB and implement these initiatives in Sindh."
Dr Saif thanked the CM Sindh for visiting the PITB and presented him a shield as a token of gratitude.
