New development reported in onshore and offshore oil and gas exploration in Pakistan

The Federal Minister of Energy, Muhammad Ali, stated that efforts to expedite the search for oil and gas throughout the country are underway to ensure the effective fulfillment of the oil and gas requirements in the future. Particularly, efforts will be made to boost the morale of investors in this sector.
During an interview with the Emirates News Agency (WAM) at the ADIPEC conference in Abu Dhabi, he mentioned that they are preparing policies regarding shale (shelly) gas and tight gas.
Government has announced bids for exploration in December, especially in offshore and onshore exploration.
The Minister of Energy further stated that Pakistan has a significant presence at ADIPEC this year, with approximately 10 companies involved in exploration, oil marketing, and related sectors. Certainly, this marks a promising beginning.
