LAHORE – Pakistan Railways may be planning for Karachi - Los Angeles train service as was depicted by the posters during the inauguration ceremony of freight train by the Railways Minister.
A video of a train – displaying Karachi-Los Angeles board – at Sukkur’s Rohri railway station made rounds on social media.
Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said it was a mischief committed by some passengers.
The federal minister talked to media in Lahore and said on a lighter note, “God willing, we will also reach Los Angeles.” ------------------------------
Sheikh Rashid maintained that the train – Awam Express – is computerized and it is not difficult to edit the destination and share its video on social media.
He said it is the love of people for Pakistan Railways that they are portraying trains running in snow on social media.
