Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan lands in big trouble

ISLAMABAD -Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan lands in big trouble as he is likely to be disqualified by the Lahore High Court for not taking oath.

Lahore High Court has fixed a petition against former Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar for not taking the oath of Punjab Assembly.

Lahore High Court bench to hear on October 7 the Miscellaneous application filed for early hearing against Chaudhry Nisar's plea.

Advocate Nadeem Sarwar has lodged petition against the Election Commission and others including Chaudhry Nisar. It was held that Chaudhry Nisar succeeded to the Provincial Assembly seat in Punjab but he was not yet sworn in.

Not Taking oath is a violation of Articles 2A, 17 and 25 of the Constitution. It further requested that the court should also order the federal and Punjab government to amend the law.
