Seven Turkish soldiers were killed and three others wounded after a roadside bomb in the south eastern province of Batman was detonated by Kurdish terrorists.

The Governor of the province said the bomb was detonated during the passage of a military convoy in the Gercus region.

Separately, the Turkish military said 13 PKK militants have been killed in air strikes in northern Iraq’s Avasin-Basyan and Zap regions and in Turkey’s south eastern province of Siirt over the past two days.
