Neelum Jhelum Hydro Power Project: Audit report finds weaknesses in financial management, procurement

ISLAMABAD: Department of the Auditor General of Pakistan has conducted a comprehensive Performance Audit of Neelum Jhelum Hydro power Project, Muzaffarabad with focus on aspects of economy, efficiency and effectiveness.
The audit report found weaknesses in areas of financial management, procurement, contract management, construction and works, assets management and evaluation, , a press release issued by the DAGP.
The Audit report has already been signed by the Auditor General of Pakistan and submitted to the Honourable president of Pakistan for causing it to be laid before the Parliament.
