The middle order batsman has gone through a remarkable turnaround, after being constantly dropped by the management and calls for retirement from the game.
Hafeez hushed all the naysayers after getting a chance in a Test series against Australia last month. Despite an absence of two years from Test cricket, Hafeez managed to shake off the rust hitting an impressive knock of 126 runs in the game.
The senior player has not looked back since then and has continued to pile up runs in different formats with a new found approach towards the game.
“I came back in the previous series and credit to the way the team has supported before every performance,” Hafeez said, quoted *The National.ae*. “Whatever the situation, I try to handle it properly.
What I am doing at the moment, it’s working, and I just need to keep doing it and not change anything,” revealed Hafeez about his game plan.
