Afghan President agrees to send group of senior politicians for talks in Moscow

Russia says that Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has agreed to send a group of senior politicians to peace talks in Moscow.

Russia had proposed in August to hold multilateral peace talks in Moscow but the talks were postponed after Ghani rejected the invitation.

Russia’s foreign ministry in a statement said the talks will now be held on 9th of this month.
