Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Urs celebrations start at Bhit Shah

BHIT SHAH – The three-day annual urs celebrations of nice Sufi saint and poet Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai are underway at Bhit Shah Town on Sunday with conventional zeal, enthusiasm and joyful celebration, within the presence of thousands of devotees.
The URS celebrations include grand musical program, literary conference, cultural and sports activities.
A literary conference is also part of 2nd day activities. Renowned researchers will read their articles on the life of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai. A dialogue session would also be a part of literary conference.
Meanwhile, Sindh Culture Minister Syed Sardar Ali visited the Cultural Village and inaugurated the first ever statue of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai.
A cattle show and a competition of famous old Sindhi sport “Malakharo” will be held on 3rd and concluding day of the Urs tomorrow.
