Trump to ask Israel to withdraw from four East Jerusalem neighbourhoods

WASHINGTON: The U.S. administration plans to ask Israel to withdraw from four Arab neighbourhoods in East Jerusalem, likely to become the capital of a future Palestinian state.
Israeli daily The Jerusalem Post reported today that U.S. officials had informed Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman about the plan during his visit to Washington last week. APP/AFP
