Governor’s Complaint Cell inaugurated

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Imran Ismail said that it was the prime responsibility of the government to provide relief to the citizens at their doorsteps and to ensure that their grievances were addressed.

People of the country in general and Karachites in particular had given us mandate for this purpose. Addressing an inauguration ceremony of Governor’s Complaint Cell at Governor House, he said that it was an obligation that they formulate a strategy to cope with the problems being faced by masses at large and to provide them with amicable solutions to their problems and provision of all basic amenities of life, according to a press release.

Imran Ismail said that he would personally monitor the complaints received at the Governor’s Complaint Cell in order to ensure that the complainants got proper response from relevant institutions or departments.

He also directed all the provincial departments to fully cooperate with the cell and to ensure prompt reply of any query or complaint forwarded to them so that unnecessary hassle to masses could be stopped.

The governor also directed all the focal persons of local and provincial departments that they should focus to resolve the problems of the masses on priority basis so that people could get the justice on time.

“The federal government is working on the development projects through Karachi Infrastructure Development Company Limited (KIDCL) focusing on mass transit, Green Line Bus, desalinization plants, strengthening of Lyari Express, widening of Northern bypass, K-IV and

other projects,” he added. The public could drop their complaints at the Governor’s Complaint Cell. They could also submit their complaints through website www.governorsindh.gov.pk.
