12 power generation units of Tarbela Dam closed, electricity hits lowest level
HARIPUR - Electricity generation from Tarbela dam has reached to lowest level after closure of 12 power generation units Tuesday due to the low water level in the lake.
According to the Tarbela Dam officials, the water level of Tarbela dam remained 7 feet above the dead level which is 1388 feet, where only five power generation units are producing 325 megawatts electricity and they are also not working with full capacity either.
