PM Imran Khan orders to grant ownership rights to slum dwellers in Lahore

After Prime Minister Imran Khan gave the green signal, the Punjab government has decided to grant ownership rights link to the slum dwellers link in Lahor link.
The provincial government has decided to give proprietary rights to the slum residents in phases.
The provincial government has tasked the concerned department to collect entire information about the slum areas in Lahore link.
It may be mentioned that there is a full-fledged Directorate General of Katchi Abadis and Urban Improvement that works under the Local Government and Rural Development Department of the Punjab government.
The Lahore link Development Authority is working as executing agency on behalf of Directorate General Katchi Abadis and Urban Improvement, Punjab, for implementing the policy decisions of the provincial government.
