Kashmir- Indian CRPF regional Headquarter attacked in Occupied Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Indian Central Reserve Police Force CRPF regional headquarter camp was attacked by unknown men. According to the Kashmir Media Service, at least four youth were martyred by the Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in a shoot out near its camp in the Sumbal area of the district.

An Indian police official, while talking to media in Srinagar, claimed that a paramilitary CRPF camp was attacked and Indian forces killed four militants at the Housing Irrigation Colony in Sumbal, the KMS reported.

A complete shutdown owing to a state curfew and other restrictions was observed in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK) on May 28 against the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Sabzar Ahmed Butt and 11 other youth by Indian troops, the Kashmir Media Service reported.

The two-day strike in the valley was called by the joint Hurriyet leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and Mohammad Yasin Malik against the killings and use of brute force on civilians by Indian troops.
