In Syria, Russia has resumed its air-strikes against insurgents in southwest of the country after failure of talks to restore government rule .

According to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the air strikes targeted the towns of Tafas and Saida in provincial capital Deraa.
A rebel spokesman said the talks in Bosra al-Sham have failed because of insistence on handing over heavy weapons.
The fighting in southwest Syria has caused an estimated 270,000 people to flee their homes.
